South Dakota residents who are disabled veterans (with at least a 40% service-connected disability rating or VA Special Monthly Compensation) or former prisoners of war can purchase a combined hunting and fishing license for just $10, valid for four years. This covers small game, fishing, and related licenses in one card.
Restrictions
Eligibility: VA "K" Award recipient, VA 40%+ service-connected disability, former POW, or 40%+ Social Security disability with prior active duty. Migratory bird stamps still required. Mail completed application with proof of eligibility and $10 fee to: SD Game, Fish and Parks, ATTN: Disability License, 20641 SD Hwy 1806, Fort Pierre, SD 57532.
