Details
PortMiami waives parking fees for vehicles displaying a Florida Disabled Veteran (DV) license plate issued under Florida Statute 320.084, 320.0842, or 320.0845. The veteran must be present in the vehicle. Standard PortMiami parking runs $22-$35/day, making this a significant saving on multi-day cruises. Two hours of free parking are offered to vehicles with a regular disabled placard that don't meet the DV plate or adaptive-equipment standard.
Restrictions
Vehicles with Florida Toll Exemption Permits or adaptive equipment (ramps, lifts, hand/foot controls) also qualify for the full waiver. Show parking ticket, driver's license, and vehicle registration at exit; attendant completes a short form. Debit cards not accepted for parking payments.
