Details
Every veteran discharged from the U.S. armed forces under anything other than a dishonorable discharge is eligible for free burial at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming. No fees are charged for the burial plot or grave vault. The spouse, handicapped child, or minor child of an eligible veteran buried in the same plot may also qualify.
Restrictions
Cemetery is located at 80 Veterans Road, Evansville, WY 82636. Phone: 307-235-6673. Burial plots assigned first come, first served. Services held weekdays only in the committal chapel. Flat granite grave markers provided by the U.S. government are the only authorized individual markers.
