Veterans who served during a declared national emergency (World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, and other declared periods) and are Oklahoma homeowners can claim a $200 exemption on the assessed value of tools and implements they own. This can reduce property tax by $15-$25 per year. Surviving spouses also qualify.

Restrictions

Apply using OTC Form 930 at county assessor by March 15 each year. Guard/Reserve members whose unit was never activated are NOT eligible. DD-214 required.
