All pay received by an Oklahoma resident while on active duty in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, including National Guard, is 100% exempt from Oklahoma state income tax. This covers salary and all other forms of compensation.
Restrictions
Statute: 68 O.S. 2358, E(5)(b). Oklahoma Tax Commission can grant filing extensions when filing is impractical for deployed members.
