Oklahoma veterans with a permanent 100% service-connected disability are completely exempt from property taxes on their home. The exemption covers the full fair cash value of the homestead. Surviving spouses of eligible veterans also qualify as long as they remain an Oklahoma resident. Veterans must register in the Oklahoma Veterans Registry and apply using OTC Form 998 with their county assessor.

Restrictions

Disability must have been sustained through military action, accident, or disease contracted in active service. Apply with OTC Form 998 at county assessor. Veterans Registry registration required first.
