Massachusetts offers a separate "Welcome Home Bonus" for veterans who served in qualifying post-9/11 combat operations (including Afghanistan, Iraq, and other designated locations). Payment amounts and eligibility differ from the older wartime bonus program. Apply through the Veterans' Bonus Division.
Restrictions
Separate program from the Vietnam/Korea/WWII bonus. Massachusetts home-of-record requirement (6 months prior to entry) applies to both programs.
