Veterans, Gold Star Parents, and surviving spouses of veterans who were New York State residents qualify for a free lifetime pass to all New York State parks, historic sites, and recreational facilities. The pass also gives discounts on camping reservations at state campgrounds.
Restrictions
Covers entrance fees at all Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) sites and DEC campground discounts. Apply through the NYS Parks website or a DVS Benefits Advisor.
