Idaho veterans with a 100% service-connected disability rating (or 100% compensation due to individual unemployability) can reduce the property taxes on their home and up to one acre of land by as much as $1,500 per year. There is no income limit for this benefit. Surviving spouses may continue to receive the benefit on the same property.
Restrictions
Apply January 1, April 15 each year through your county assessor's office. Permanent and total disability cases auto-renew after initial approval.
