Mississippi school districts can award honorary high school diplomas to veterans of World War II (scheduled to graduate 1941-1955), the Korean Conflict, or the Vietnam Conflict (scheduled to graduate 1963-1973) who left school to serve before graduating. Family members of deceased eligible veterans can apply for the diploma to be awarded posthumously.
Restrictions
Contact the local school district's board of education to apply. The diploma form is prescribed and supplied by the State Board of Education.
