Kentucky provides a completely free vehicle registration certificate and license plate to veterans who are 100% service-connected disabled, received VA adaptive vehicle assistance, or are Congressional Medal of Honor recipients. No registration fee is charged at the county clerk.
Restrictions
Apply at the county clerk with Form TC 96-217 plus VA documentation confirming 100% disability or adaptive vehicle grant. Authorized under KRS 186.041 and KRS 186.162(2)(A).
