Every August, Colorado Parks and Wildlife issues a free Military Parks Pass to active-duty military, veterans, and National Guard members, residents and non-residents alike, giving free entry to all Colorado state parks for the entire month. Pick up the pass at any state park or CPW office with proof of military service (DD214, military ID, or Colorado driver's license marked "Veteran").
Restrictions
Pass is valid for the service member only (not spouses or dependents). All other park fees (camping, boating, etc.) still apply.
