Louisiana disabled veterans can get a free driver's license or state identification card through the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV). Standard license and renewal fees are waived for qualifying disabled veterans.
Restrictions
Policy Section 2.01 covers "Disabled Veterans, Free Driver's License/Identification Card." Also includes a veteran designation (Section 2.02) on the license for all qualifying veterans.
