Veterans who served on active duty and were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable are generally eligible for interment. This includes veterans discharged before September 7, 1980 with any active-duty service, and post-1980 veterans who served the minimum required period. Guard and Reserve members with qualifying service are also eligible.
Restrictions
Pre-September 7, 1980 veterans need any active-duty service with non-dishonorable discharge. Post-1980 veterans need minimum service period. Guard/Reserve with federal active-duty service qualifies.
