Veterans and active-duty military receive a $5 per vehicle entrance fee (vs. the standard $10) at the Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, and Kerr Lake reservoir recreation areas during peak season. Campsite reservations also receive a discount for veterans and military.
Restrictions
Discount is $5/vehicle at reservoir parks charged on weekends in April, May, September, and daily Memorial Day through Labor Day. Show proof of service at the gate. Discount does not apply to primitive campsites, vacation cabins, or facility rentals.
