Pennsylvania's 100% permanently and totally service-connected disabled veterans can be fully exempt from all real estate taxes on their primary home. Financial need must be shown, as of January 1, 2025, veterans earning $114,637 or less per year are presumed to have financial need. The exemption can pass to an unmarried surviving spouse if financial need is demonstrated.
Restrictions
Apply through your county's Director of Veterans Affairs. Income threshold adjusted annually by the State Veterans' Commission. Email questions to Ra-retx@pa.gov.
