Qualified nonprofit organizations can get a discounted group fishing license ($125) to run up to 50 fishing events for veterans with service-related or other disabilities. No fee can be charged to the disabled veteran participants. This lets nonprofits run fishing therapy and recreational programs affordably.

Restrictions

For nonprofits, not individual veterans. Participants must be supervised by an individual with a fishing license. Contact CT DEEP Fisheries Division at deep.inland.fisheries@ct.gov or 860-424-3474.
