Utah charges a uniform fee in place of property tax on vehicles. Disabled veterans with a 10% or greater service-connected disability can have this fee reduced proportionally, the vehicle's taxable value is reduced by the same percentage as the property tax exemption, capped at the same maximum value.
Restrictions
Minimum 10% service-connected disability. Exemption mirrors the property tax abatement formula. Surviving spouse may also transfer the plate.
