Utah offers a Disabled Veteran specialty license plate to any veteran with a service-connected disability. There is no initial or annual contribution fee, only the standard plate fee of $12.50 and a $4.00 registration certificate fee. The plate is transferable to an unmarried surviving spouse.
Restrictions
Requires documentation from the Utah DVMA or another U.S. military entity certifying disabled status. Available at any Utah DMV office.
