Disabled veterans who qualify based on specific VA disability criteria can get a distinctive Disabled Veteran license plate for their vehicle for just $10 per year, with no regular registration fee charged. This replaces the standard vehicle registration cost.

Restrictions

Eligibility limited to veterans who are: a recipient of a VA "K" Award, recipient of an automobile under Public Law 187, recipient of a statutory benefit for loss or loss of use of one or more extremities, or a recipient of a veteran's allotment for total service-connected disability incurred during wartime or armed conflict. Available for passenger vehicles and motorcycles. $7.50 mailing fee also
