Alabama veterans with a disability of 25% or more (service-connected or not) who run a one-person business may pay no more than $25 total in state, county, and municipal business/occupational license taxes, regardless of the normal rates. This covers businesses the veteran operates personally with no more than one employee.

Restrictions

Ala. Code §§ 40-12-340 to 40-12-352. Does not apply if property (real and personal) is valued at $5,000 or more, or net income is $2,500 or more. Covers WWII-era and post-WWII combat-era veterans.
