Maryland residents who are 100% service-connected disabled veterans, former prisoners of war, or deemed unemployable by the VA receive a free lifetime fishing license. The license covers the non-tidal fishing license, trout stamp, Chesapeake Bay sport fishing license, and recreational oyster license.
Restrictions
Apply at a DNR Licensing and Registration Service Center. Bring a letter of disability or VA certification. This is a separate license from the hunting license, each requires its own application.
