Georgia veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 10% or more and an honorable discharge can get a certificate that exempts their business from local government occupation taxes, administrative fees, and regulatory fees for up to 10 years. Covers peddling, conducting a business, or practicing a profession or semi-profession.
Restrictions
Apply by completing VS Form 40-025 and taking it with DD-214 and VA Summary of Benefits letter to the county Probate Court. Some counties may also require VS Form 40-026. Good for up to 10 years.
